James Theodore, Managing Director
For more than thirty years, Jim has been a specialist in conducting retained executive search in the hospitality, gaming, and leisure industries, following general management experience within the hospitality industry in Germany, Boston, Chicago, and New York. Prior to forming Exeter Partners, Jim initially led the domestic hospitality and leisure practices for the largest executive search firm in the world while based in New York City. Shortly thereafter, he was given global responsibilities for the practice.
During his thirty-plus-year career in the field of executive search, Jim has successfully led numerous searches in the United States and Asia/ Pacific, the Caribbean, Latin America, South America, the UK, and the EU. These global engagements ranged from CEO/Managing Director through Director and Senior Executive levels in all major functional areas, including information technology, real estate development, technical services, design and construction, finance, operations, human resources, marketing, and general management. Jim is a graduate of Boston University’s School of Liberal Arts and a Veteran of the United States Army Infantry Officer’s Corps.
Tina Vine, Our Director of Research

Ms. Tina Vine is our Director of Research. Prior to joining us in Boston, Tina worked in executive search for almost 20 years in London and the United States. She originally joined Tyzack & Partners, one of London’s longest established executive search firms. Since 2011, she has been Director of Research for Exeter Partners. Her interests include dancing, yoga, and reading, and she is a mentor with Infinite Family, an organization that helps young people in South Africa to make good choices for their lives.
Neal Wyman, Our London Colleague
Our colleague in London is Neal Wyman, Senior Partner of Tyzack Partners. During his early career, Neal trained as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand before moving to KPMG, where he worked in the Far East. Neal then entered executive search in 1981, initially specializing in the financial industry before broadening into general appointments and professional services. Neal joined Tyzack in 1986, and currently focuses on general management, finance, and nonexecutive appointments in both private and quoted companies. Neal has extensive experience in recruiting for the hospitality, leisure and gaming sectors in both the UK and the EU. Neal is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
